Sorry about the small images on this post...it really doesn't do the work justice.
Really love this image - who is the artist? I'm glad you are getting some mail art that is not framed in the traditional postcard scale. This 2 to 1 approx. scale is very effective. Many times when I return to sumi-e for a reality fix I tear the paper in that proportion.
Oh I should have been more specific..I've been posting so much Mail art lately, but I also post my own artwork. This one is mine.
Hi Sarah. This is beautiful ... I love the calligraphic and Asian qualities, and also the mystery; it's very subtle and yet strong!
